Why a storage trailer

Storage trailer rentals, delivered to your lot and gone when you're done.

A dry van trailer is the fastest, most flexible way to add square footage. No construction, no long lease, no paying year-round for space you only fill at peak.

Scale up, scale down

Add trailers for peak season and send them back when demand drops. Stop paying to keep an empty warehouse warm in the off-months.

Dropped where you need it

We deliver, position, and level the trailer on your yard, jobsite, or dock. Stationary storage, parked and ready to fill.

Ground-level loading

Forklift- and pallet-jack-friendly access right at grade. Roll-up or swing-door units available, no loading dock required.

Weather-tight & secure

Sealed against weather and prying eyes. Wind- and water-tight steel bodies with hardwood floors, hardened padlocks, and kingpin locks so a parked trailer can't be hooked and towed.

The warehouse math

Why rent a trailer instead of leasing a building?

Most companies only need their peak footprint a few months a year. A warehouse lease charges you for all twelve. Trailers flex with the calendar.

Warehouse lease

  • Multi-year commitment, signed before you know next year's volume
  • Paying year-round for space you only fill at peak
  • Fixed location you have to route around
  • Build-out, utilities, insurance, and property taxes
  • Hard and expensive to exit early

Coaxle trailer Flexible

  • Month-to-month or annual terms, your call
  • Add and return units as demand rises and falls
  • Delivered and placed exactly where you work
  • No build-out and no utility bills to run
  • Send it back when the season's over
Bottom lineMost operations pay a fraction per square foot of what a warehouse lease costs, and only for the months they actually need the room.

Questions

Storage trailer rentals, answered.

What is a storage trailer rental?+

It's a semi-trailer rented as stationary, on-site storage. We deliver a 45- to 53-foot dry van to your location and leave it parked so you can load and unload on your own schedule. Think of it as portable warehouse space you rent by the month instead of leasing by the year.

How much does it cost?+

Pricing depends on trailer size, how many you need, your location, and rental length. Longer terms and multiple units bring the rate down. Send us the details through the quote form and we'll get you a number quickly.

How fast can you deliver?+

Most orders are on your lot within 24 to 48 hours of confirming your quote. Tell us your timeline and we'll work to hit it.

Short-term or long-term?+

Both. Rent for a busy season, a project, or year-round. Terms run from a few weeks to several years, and you can extend or return whenever your needs change.

What surface do I need?+

A firm, reasonably level spot the delivery truck can reach: gravel, asphalt, or concrete all work. Not sure your site fits? Ask us and we'll help you figure it out.

What can I store?+

Palletized inventory, equipment, materials, fixtures, records, and general dry goods. Trailers are weather-tight and lockable. They are not climate-controlled, so they suit dry, non-perishable storage.

How secure are the trailers?+

Every unit is lockable and weather-tight. We can add a hardened padlock plus kingpin and gladhand locks that keep a parked trailer from being hooked and towed. Solid steel walls keep your inventory dark and out of sight.

Do you do over-the-road hauling?+

No. Coaxle is storage only. We deliver and place trailers as stationary on-site storage. We don't lease trailers for freight, trucking, or driver use.
