Before you rent

Renting a storage trailer on the coast: what to know.

Pick a firm, well-drained spot. Low ground and soft soil are common in the Lowcountry, and a storage trailer needs gravel, asphalt, concrete or packed ground that won't turn to mud after a heavy rain. Tell us the address and we'll confirm the spot before we deliver.

Our trailers are weather-tight steel dry vans, not climate-controlled units. Coastal heat and humidity are hard on paper, fabric, electronics and anything that can mildew, so they suit packaged inventory, equipment and materials best.

Plan for storm season. If your site is exposed, talk to us before hurricane season about where the trailer sits and what's stored in it.
